Stacey Jackson wears multiple hats, but there is one thing that’s clear: she’s driven. Jackson’s upward trajectory is a positive force that can’t be stopped.
Stacey Jackson exudes ambition. She is a singer/songwriter, entrepreneur, and mother of four. She became a protagonist for stay-at-home moms when she launched her music career at age 40, and gained tremendous popularity.
Jackson’s music career spans over 25 years, from her early days in New York with her Motown band, Fuzzy Dice, to becoming one of the UK’s hottest dance music stars in the past decade.
Her first song, recorded for the UK based charity Music for Youth, was remixed into a dance track that catapulted her into the top 10 dance and club charts.
Since that success, Jackson has released four albums, and caught the attention of legendary rapper, Snoop Dogg, with whom she recorded a single on her self-penned record Live it Up.
Jackson has a large following and — at age 50 — she invited a camera crew to follow her and share her crazy, hectic life with her fans.
She has a cameo in an upcoming comedy film, Reboot Camp, in which her song, Live it Up, is being “rebooted,” re-released, and featured in the film in honor of its 10th anniversary. The film and song will be released June 4, 2021.
Jackson reflects on the origin of Live it Up. "I wrote the song about a dream I had where my late father came to visit me to tell me that now is my time and that I should live my dream and share my music. And I feel so lucky that 10 years later I still have a great relationship with the guys in the “Dogg Pound."
The song, Live it Up, is an upbeat, empowering pop/dance tune that is sure to make you move. Jackson’s smooth voice and catchy melodies stick in your head to keep you grooving long after you’ve finished listening to the song.
