What’s the value in knowing others personality types’?
I’ve done all sorts of personality tests in the past for various jobs and groups I’ve been involved in. I’ve done everything from the DISC to Strength Finders to Insights and a few others along the way.
The amazing thing about those personality assessments is that they are typically spot-on. It’s kind of eerie how accurate they can be.
The value of knowing my own personality type is simply self-awareness. Understanding how you operate is key to knowing what work and even people energize or drain you.
Knowing the personality types of those you work with is also beneficial because it helps you build relationships better by knowing how to approach others about various topics based on what you know about their personality type.
Where might you find others like you to relate to?
